Joe obtained a B. A. in psychology in 1978 from the University of Manitoba, then moved to Vancouver where he obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia. Joe articled with the law firm of Feller Drysdale and upon being called to the bar in 1983, he became an Associate and in the late 1980’s a partner of the firm. September 1, 2003 he started a new law firm and partnership with Christopher Bacon, known as Drysdale Bacon McStravick.

For his entire 25-year career, Joe has focused on protecting the legal rights of personal injury victims.
