Called to the BC Bar in 2015, before joining Drysdale Bacon McStravick, Mike articled at a criminal defence firm in Toronto. Mike spent his articling year developing extensive litigation experience by attending court daily and assisting on files in every level of the Ontario courts. Mike’s work assisting senior counsel in complex trials and working on the Innocence Project during law school have given him significant experience reviewing detailed disclosure evidence, including medical reports.

Mike’s practice focuses on personal injury law and civil ligation. He also has a specific interest in estate litigation including wills variation matters.

Mike is skilled at helping his clients manage volatile situations where emotions can run high. He makes it a priority to assist clients to assess their situations in a calm, objective way that allows them to make good decisions about what is best for them in the long run.

Originally from Oakville, Ontario, Mike studied history and religious studies at the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto before moving to Vancouver to pursue a legal career.  He earned a J.D from the University of British Columbia.
